CAR - 17 David's older brother, John, was so anxious to go racing that he didn't even wait to put the emblems and decals on his freshly painted car. This car is equipped with a small block Chevy 327 - 375 HP with a turbo 350 transmission with a 3500 stall converter and a heavy duty 10 bolt posi with 456 gears. This car runs 13.20's in the 1/4 mile at a 101 MPH. That was last year's times and in the year 2000 the car will be decaled the same as David's cars (company colors). Will be fitted with a roll cage, a Pontiac 400 heavy duty motor specially built with extensive head work done by Travis Lockhead and teaming up with Larry Kellett on assembling the rest of the motor. Calculated HP will be approx. 550 and will still be running a turbo 350 automatic transmission with 3500 Stall converter a 12 bolt heavy-duty posi with 456 gears and Strange axles. This car should be running low 11's approx. 120 MPH. This should make John very happy! Look out girls, John is still looking for the right (prefer single) girl.
